Maco Yoga at the Greenhouse
Sign up online at macotheater.com/book only! There is a limited number of spaces, so please no drop ins! Please bring your own mat.
Start your weekends immersed in warmth, greenery, and calm. Join us three Saturday mornings in December for yoga inside the city’s year-round tropical greenhouse—an oasis of lush plants, vibrant blooms, and peaceful energy no matter how cold it gets outside.
This all-levels class is designed to ground your body, brighten your mood, and help you reconnect with nature during the winter season. Surrounded by tropical foliage and soft natural light, you’ll move, breathe, and unwind in one of the most unique practice spaces in the area.
A portion of every class fee directly supports Friends of the Greenhouse, the volunteer organization dedicated to maintaining, enhancing, and advocating for this beloved community space. Participants are also encouraged to further support the greenhouse through optional donations or by becoming a Friends of the Greenhouse member. Each of our three yoga teachers will teach a class at the greenhouse this month. See schedule below:

Celebrate the season with our FREE Holiday Market at the Maco Theater! Browse tables of holiday décor, lights, ornaments, and festive trinkets. Huge thank-you to our neighbors at Jackie’s Attic for their generous donations making this give-back possible.
Everything is free or by donation only—no pressure, no cost, just community sharing at its best. All donations collected will go towards our fund that is being towards the restoration of the Maco Theater sign on Chestnut Street.

The Reckoning LIVE During 2025 Downtown Food Truck Festival

Jam out to some amazing tunes by The Reckoning, a local premier party band and 2024 Grandma's Marathon headliner, featuring 80s, 90s rock & pop, today’s hits and a little bit of country, from 3 PM to 6 PM. Doors open at 2:45 PM
Food & Drinks Galore! This event coincides with the annual REVIVE Virginia Downtown Food Truck Festival, running from 12 PM to 6 PM, offering a huge variety of delicious food options. Allison will have light refreshments and giveaways available during the event as well.
This event is designed to be fun for all ages, so bring the family, and come out and enjoy a fantastic day of music, food, and community spirit.
